We've added concrete to the ballast chambers so that the hides are weighted - each one weighs in at around 3.75kg. We've fitted a 6mm rope bridle & 100mm shark clip for attaching to your main line.
The hides are generously sized hide - 390mm L x 165mm H x 165mm & has vents at the rear for the sand & water to drain out of when you're pulling your hides to the surface.
Tips on octopus fishing
Octopus hides offer an economical and user-friendly solution for octopus fishing. These moulded plastic tubes provide a hiding place for octopuses. Our octopus hides feature a single-entry chamber that allows the octopus to freely come and go. Placing them in the middle of octopus feeding grounds maximizes their effectiveness, providing shelter in open areas where natural hiding spots are scarce.
