Suitable for 6mm (1/4″) chain and 12mm (1/2″) 8-plait nylon rope, the RC6 automatic rope/chain anchor winch is Maxwell’s smallest windlass in the vertical RC series and is most commonly used on boats ranging from 4.5-7.5m (15-25′). The in-line, vertical gearbox and motor means quick and easy installation.
The RC6 is a Low-Profile unit meaning there is no optional capstan drum. If a capstan is needed in addition to the rope/chain gypsy, then a step up to the RC8-6 would be the next option to consider.
