Traditionally the baskets, lids & necks used in both recreational & professional craypots have been made from 100% virgin plastics.
The Crackpots team have been working to introduce recycled plastics into our range. We’re proud to launch our Black R50 range – made with 50% recycled plastic, sourced from right here in WA. Together with local fishermen, we’ve tested them to make sure they work just as well in pot building; surviving the salt water & sun; and most importantly that they catch just as well.
The red component range will continue to be available by order until March 2026.
