Whether you’re new to crayfishing or have been doing it for years – here’s everything you need to get your craypots set up for the season.
Just work down the page and choose the pot, floats and ropes you'd like for your set up. Don't forget to add your Gear ID into the notes section of the cart if you'd like us to engrave your float.
OK – we’ve got a few different pots to choose from – here’s a quick guide to the different options:One bait basket or two? Depends on how frequently you plan on pulling your pots – two baskets work well if you can get out about twice a week.Jarrah or Pine Battens? All our pots are built with a robust jarrah frame. The choice between jarrah and pine comes down to how much time your pots will spend in the water – if you’re planning on fishing all year round – go for jarrah. Just chasing the whites? Pine is perfect.Galvanised or Black Steel Base? Buying a pot with a gal base means you won’t have to get an anode. But if you’re planning on fishing right in close to the reef or on rocky ground, a pot with a black steel base will work better as the galvanising can chip off.
Then Choose the rope length that suits where you’ll be fishing best.
